Things to Know If You Use:

Online or Mobile Banking:

Beginning April 3rd, you are invited to fall in love with UCCU's online banking... again! But for a whole new set of reasons.

First of all…you might be wondering what the difference is between Online and Mobile banking.   Well, aside from the obvious difference of which device you use to access your account, the differences are becoming less and less apparent. And that's the goal: a unified experience.

With a unified experience, the look and feel of your online banking is consistent on all of your devices, which makes your overall experience simpler, easier, and more functional than ever – on any device.

We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of answers to important questions regarding Online and Mobile banking which you can review anytime.  For now, here are a few highlights of what you can expect:

  • New UCCU Mobile App:  On or after April 3, 2017, mobile users will need to download the new UCCU Mobile app.  The app is the same for smartphones and tablets.  Once you have successfully completed your login with our new mobile app, you can simply delete the old UCCU Mobile app from your device(s).
  • No Security Questions:  So long, security questions! During your initial login sequence, you’ll receive a Secure Access Code through an email, text message, or computer phone call. In order to successfully complete your initial login, you’ll need to enter this code in the space provided during your login. Please take a minute to verify and update the contact information we have on file for each of your accounts prior to March 31st.
  • Registering Computers and Devices:  Secure Access Code security allows you to register the computer (or mobile device) you are using for "one-time" or "future on-going" use.  When you use a private device that you will frequently use to access Online or Mobile Banking, you can “register the device,” which will allow UCCU to recognize the device and browser you’re using.  Once you have registered your device, you will not be prompted for a Secure Access Code with future logins.  However, if the computer you use is public or one which you do not regularly use, we recommend for your security that you “do not register” the device.
  • Touch ID Enabled Login:  Touch ID isn't just for unlocking your smartphone. You can also use it to login to UCCU's new mobile banking system instead of having to type in your username and password every time.  It's easy to enable.  Just click on "account settings" and follow the prompts.
  • World-Class Digital Money Management:  A must after you login... Explore our new, state-of-the-art digital banking tools that are sure to exceed your highest money management expectations.  Aggregate and manage your money with budget goals, spending alerts, spending categories and visual tools.
  • 360-View Account Aggregation:  Account aggregation automatically collects financial information from different accounts which may include bank accounts, credit card accounts, investment accounts, and other consumer or business accounts and delivers up a 360-degree view of all your assets and liabilities.  So if you're tired of remembering lists of websites, passwords, user names and security questions, with UCCU's 360-View Account Aggregation, all of your financial data can be just a mouse click away.
