Updates as of April 15th:

Security Alert: Coronavirus Scams

  • Fraudulent schemes are targeting Utah residents and UCCU members!

UCCU has received reports of criminals who are contacting individuals directly, claiming to be from the CDC, state, or other local authority. Additionally, online scammers are posing as representatives from UCCU and other financial institutions in an attempt to trick people into divulging sensitive information about their accounts.

Click here for the latest on current scams, including COVID-19 fraud tactics.
  • Keep Your Information Safe

Never share your account Information with anyone. This includes card numbers, PINs, usernames, Secure Access Codes, and all other sensitive information. UCCU will never ask for your Secure Access Codes or card and PIN or request sensitive information through an unsolicited text, phone call or email to you.

ANY REQUESTS TO SHARE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION – FROM AN UNSOLICITED CONTACT – IS FRAUD
  • How UCCU Protects You

At UCCU, the security of your accounts and information is a top priority. We protect every member with multiple layers of security – which is a must in this age of digital fraud.

Financial Hardship Support

  • Skip-a-Payment

Skip-a-Payment gives you a chance to have the extra money you need by allowing you to skip a month of certain loan payments. Some rare circumstances may preclude us from accommodating all requests but please check your eligibility with a member service representative.* We’ll do all we can to make it work. Eligible loans for Skip-a-Payment include car loans, lines of credit, personal unsecured loans, recreational vehicle loans and other secured loans. To request a Skip-a-Payment please call us at 801-223-8188.
  • Transfer a Loan and Make No Payments for 60 Days

Enjoy no payments for 60 days on loans transferred to UCCU from other institutions. As always, UCCU’s low rates will typically reduce your payment as well. Apply online or over the phone at 801-223-7600.

Bonus: for a limited time you can also receive up to $200 cash back for every auto loan you transfer to UCCU.**

As always, please reach out to us to explain your situation so we can help find a solution for you.

Homeowner Mortgage Relief & CARES Act Forbearance

We want to keep you as informed and prepared as possible regarding mortgage relief options. If you are experiencing financial hardship due to the coronavirus COVID-19 click here to learn more about the Federal CARES Act mortgage forbearance

Please note that the government’s forbearance program is not a payment forgiveness program. The program will pause your payments, but payments will need to be repaid at the end of the forbearance plan. So, if you are approved to skip three months of mortgage payments, on the fourth month, fourth payments would be due at that time (the three skipped payments plus the current month’s payment). If you are seeking a forbearance plan, continue making your mortgage payments until your forbearance plan has been approved.

To find a mortgage forbearance solution please call 1-866-397-5370, email [email protected], or click here to submit a request.

*Skip-a-Payment: to qualify, you must have a satisfactory payment history. UCCU may deny your request for any reason. Skipped payments are not waived or forgiven; they are simply deferred and must be paid later. Your payments must resume following the skip; your payment the following month will be due on the same date of that month it would have been due in the absence of a skip/deferment the prior month. Interest will continue to accrue during the deferral period and until your loan is repaid in full. Deferring a payment can cause negative amortization on your loan. All terms of your loan agreement(s) remain unchanged if UCCU approves your request except: (a) the payment schedule will lengthen by one month or number of months of the skip payment, and (b) debt cancellation and protection products now in effect may not provide protection beyond the original maturity date. UCCU reserves the right to not offer you a payment deferral in the future. Not available on first mortgages, second mortgages, credit cards and business loans. This offer is subject to change at any time. Some restrictions may apply. Limited time offer. Insured by NCUA.

**Up to $200 Auto Loan Transfer Cash Rebate is available for a limited time and applies to existing loans that are transferred from other institutions. Receive $50 cash back for auto loan vehicle balances between $10,000 and $14,999. Receive $100 cash back for auto loan vehicle balances between $15,000 and $19,999. Receive $200 cash back for auto loan vehicle balances between $20,000 and above. Rebate may be awarded in cash or as a credit to the loan. Existing UCCU loans and new purchases are not eligible for cash back offer. Some restrictions apply. Terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and without notice. See current rates and terms at uccu.com/rates. Loans on approved credit. Federally Insured by NCUA.
