If you accidentally overdraft your Elevated Checking account, then reach out and let us know and we will reimburse your overdraft fee (two reimbursements per year).
Overdraft Forgiveness
Contact a UCCU Representative to request that your overdraft fee be reimbursed. You can contact us by:
- Call or text (801) 223-8188.
- Message through your UCCU Digital Banking.
- Firstly, login to your account.
- Then select messages on from the main menu options.
- Visit any of our local Branch Locations.
Overdraft Forgiveness is offered up to two times per year upon request.
Sign up for Checking Protection
While it is good to avoid overdraft fees altogether, you can also apply for Checking Protection. Also known as an Overdraft Line of Credit, checking protection sets up a credit line on the end of your checking account. This allows for over-drafted funds to be added into a credit line that you can then pay off during the credit lines monthly statement.
