Having car troubles during your commute? Get back on the road with UCCU’s Roadside Assistance1 with your Elevated Checking Account. Whether you have a flat tire, locked out of your car, have a dead battery, need towing, or simply run out of fuel, UCCU’s Elevated Checking will provide you up to $100 for the listed service. Two incidents claims will be covered during any 12-month period interval.

Access Roadside Assistance

  1. Open an Elevated Checking Account with UCCU.
  2. The vehicle needing assistance must be registered under your name and operated by you, the account holder.

Receive Roadside Assistance

  1. Verify that you qualify for protection (as listed above).
  2. Login to your UCCU Digital Banking online or in your mobile app.
    • In the menu, select “Services” then select “Elevated Checking” to find your ‘Access Code’.
  3. With your Elevated Checking identity number in hand, call the number provided.
  4. Inform the representative of your situation and provide any necessary preliminary information.

Additionally, you are required to pay for all expenses or costs exceeding the $100 maximum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which of my vehicles are available for Roadside Support?

Any qualified vehicle registered under the UCCU Elevated Checking Account holders name is also eligible for this benefit. Your roadside support gives you a max of two incidents during a 12-month period. Therefore, it is not two incidents per vehicle.

If my car is driven by someone other than me, will they have access to Roadside Support?

No. The car must be operated by the user to whom the car is also officially registered with. You will not have access to this benefit while operating a car registered under someone else’s name. Likewise, you will not have access to if another user is operating your vehicle. For more information, login to your UCCU Digital Banking, select Elevated Checking, then Travel and Leisure, then select “Roadside Assistance”.

Are there any vehicles that are not eligible for Roadside Support?

Yes. There are multiple vehicles that will not have access to this benefit regardless of the user. The following vehicles are not eligible for this benefit.

  • Motorcycles of any type
  • Trucks larger 1.5 ton capacity
  • Antique vehicles (defined as those over 20 years old or out of manufacture for ten years or more)
  • Commercial or delivery vehicles including taxicabs, limousines, and the like
  • Recreational vehicles including RV’s camping trailers, travel trailers, or also any vehicles in tow
