UCCU 2020 Short Film Competition
Dominic Tuia
He WOWED us with his awesome UCCU rap and it is no surprise that he wants to become an actor someday. The charity Dominic chose to donate $1000 to is Primary Children’s Hospital. “I chose this charity because when my Aunt was little she was a patient of Primary Children’s Hospital. I’m thankful for how much they have helped kids like my Aunt. They continue to make a difference in kids lives, and I wanted to thank them for all they continue to do and sacrifice,” says Dominic.

These cute kiddos are the stars in their UCCU short film called “Brother Proof Banking.” The charity they chose to make their $1000 donation to is Make-A-Wish Utah because of a family member that was once granted a wish. While visiting Make-A-Wish, Vienna and Rome went on an awesome tour and learned all about the kids that will be benefitting from their donation!

These two, along with the help of their siblings, wrote and recorded a song called “Let Me Tell You Why” for their awesome UCCU short film. “We had to learn to work together and rely on each other’s talents,” says Jessie. With their winnings, they have decided to get a new Xbox for the family and plan to put the rest in their savings accounts. “We chose to donate the $1000 to Primary Children’s Hospital because we know how much good they do for children all over the region,” -says Elsie.

She created her excellent, informative UCCU short film with the help of her friend Lauren Hafen. “I learned a lot about UCCU and all of the great tools they offer. I was also surprised at how easy it was to make an account and get my own debit card. I had a lot of fun, thanks for this great opportunity!” says Eveline. Eveline chose to make her $1,000 donation to the The Center for Women and Children in Crisis
