March 27, 2019 Update to UCCU Online and Mobile Banking

An update to UCCU Online and Mobile banking has been in development since the beginning of January 2019 and is scheduled for release Wednesday, March 27. 


What’s this update for?

This update provides intuitive modifications to the Online and Mobile Banking user interface for improved navigation and introduces some entirely new functionality. It also includes the underpinnings / prerequisites to support exciting future functionality, as well as several ADA-compliance related updates. 

Although the following list is not comprehensive it highlights some of the most significant updates in the release:

• The Ability to: 

  •  Edit scheduled and recurring transactions (from within your Activity Center)
  •  Add, edit or remove account nicknames from the home screen 
  •  Perform a ‘Quick Transfer’ within transaction history
  •  Open details for a mortgage loan directly from the home screen tile 
  •  Add “Manual Accounts” aka ‘offline accounts’ to budgeting tools (The value of real estate you own, silver coins / gold, art collection, a personal debt) to better reflect your overall financial position in our money management tools and to more accurately calculate Net Worth

• Introduction of ‘Kebab’ menus on home page account tiles and transaction history items, with additional options available within each for easier navigation and transacting

  •  What’s a ‘Kebab’ menu? It’s three vertically stacked dots, so named for its unintentional resemblance to a kebab (skewered and grilled cubes of meat). It is a button commonly placed in a top corner of a user interface in modern technology platforms. Its function is to toggle a menu from being collapsed or hidden to being displayed and usable.

• Added integrations for Bill Pay to extend additional functionality for integrated Bill Pay (particularly on Mobile)

• Improved responsive design for desktop users (the user interface dynamically resizes to fit any screen or browser size, so you no longer need to scroll to find transaction amounts or other info on desktop that prior to this update went beyond the page border)

• Accessibility updates for ADA compliance

  •  Ability to enable high contrast mode for the visually impaired
  •  Menus and buttons are fully text accessible for improved access to screen-reading technology

What is financial aggregation?


Assign nicknames to accounts and group them. Each of your accounts will display on separate tiles so you can easily drag and drop your accounts into a customized view that works for you. You can also customize account activity alerts.


Easily hide accounts that you don’t need to or don’t want to see every time you login. Once those accounts are hidden, information from the remaining account tiles will populate your Digital Money Manager tools allowing you to visualize budgets, track spending, set goals, prioritize the paydown of debts, and more.
